Fieldex acquires major land position in northern Quebec

Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, February 29th, 2008. Fieldex Exploration Inc. (FLX :TSXV & F7E : Frankfurt ) is pleased to announce that the company has staked 120 claims totalling over 7000 hectares (70 square kilometres) in the Lake Simard area in Northern Quebec. The area is along trend from the company's recent uranium discoveries (see the company's news in Stockwatch dated Feb. 26, 2008). Fieldex has 100-per-cent ownership of over 600 square kilometres of copper, nickel, uranium and gold exploration land in the area. The recent staking is coincident with a prominent radiometric anomaly surrounding the Simard Lake.
