Fieldex Exploration inc. announces appointment of new director

Fieldex Exploration Inc (FLX-TSXV and F7E-Frankfurt) is pleased to announce that at the corporationís Annual Meeting held on June 20, 2007, the shareholders elected Jean-Pierre Landry as a new member of the Board of Directors of Fieldex.

Mr. Jean-Pierre Landry is the construction manager for Goldcorp Inc. and is responsible for the Eleonor project in province of Quebec. He received his engineering degree with honors from McGill University in 1983. He has worked with major consulting firms in mining, industrial and commercial projects. He has been project manager with the Noranda Mines group for 14 years, taking part in both mining and metallurgical projects. He joined Goldcorp in early 2007. The Eleonor project is a new major gold discovery in the James Bay region, which is currently at the scoping stage. Mr Landry adds experience regarding commercial production to the Fieldex team.

The new Board, Messrs. Dallaire, Champagne, Lacasse, Landry and Morisson extends its appreciation to former board member, Mr. Claude Dufresne, for his many years of dedicated service as a director to the Company.

In addition, the board of directors has granted an aggregate of 85,000 options to one director and one consultant. The options are exercisable at $0.71 per share and are for a term of five years.
