Fieldex reports drilling results on Midrim, Laforce and Devlin properties

Fieldex Exploration Inc. (FLX :TSXV and F7E : Frankfurt ) is pleased to announce the partial results from its on-going diamond drilling program on the Midrim, LaForce and Devlin properties in the Temiskamingue region of western Quebec. Aurora Platinum Corp. (“Aurora”, 100% owned by FNX Mining Company) is a joint venture partner and the operator of these projects.

MIDRIM PROPERTY (30% Fieldex, 70% Aurora)

A 4-hole (MR-06-95 to MR-06-98, totalling 1059 metres) diamond drilling program on the Midrim property was intended to confirm and expand the high-grade nickel-copper-platinum-palladium mineralization delineated by Aurora in 2000-2001 (Aurora’s 2000-2001 drilling - ref. NI43-101 Midrim Property, Richard J. Mazur, April 17, 2002). See July 5th press release on Fieldex’ website.

Of the four holes drilled, MR-06-95 intersected 10.6 metres (174.3m-184.90m) grading 1.53% Ni+Cu (0.91% Cu and 0.62% Ni), 1.08 g/t Pt+Pd and anomalous gold. The other three holes did not intersect significant mineralization, but significantly increased the understanding of the stratigraphic relationships between the host rocks and the sulphide mineralization.

LAFORCE PROPERTY (Fieldex 50% and Aurora 50%)

LaForce property consists of 6 contiguous mining claims covering a total of two hundred and eleven hectares (211 ha). Historical drilling in the
1950s by Kerr Addison Gold Mines Ltd. outlined an area of mineralization of over two hundred feet (61m) in strike length. This area averaged
1.16% nickel and 0.45% copper (Laforce Property - 43-101, J.D Charlton April 18, 2002). A 6-hole (totalling 1056 m) diamond drilling
program was designed to confirm the pre-existing, dated information. The new drilling was interpreted to show that the mineralized envelope is
hosted by an amphibolite pod within gabbroic rocks, and is comprised of up to 15% disseminated to wispy sulphides. These holes confirmed
the historically defined orebody and tremendously increased the understanding of the lithological control of the sulphide mineralization.
“We are pleased with what we have learned from this current drilling program and now have the opportunity to apply this knowledge
to the 500 km² of land we share with Aurora especially with actual nickel price, where 1% nickel worth more than half an ounce per ton of gold,
this could be very interesting for Fieldex’future.” stated Martin Dallaire, President and CEO.

The results of only two holes (LF-06-01 and 02) that were available for this press release are tabulated below.
Assay results of the remaining four holes are pending.

DEVLIN PROPERTY (Fieldex 50% and Aurora 50%)

The Devlin property was prospected/mapped prior to the commencement of the diamond drilling program. The two hole (totaling 500 metres) drill program was carried out to test VTEM conductors (helicopter-borne electromagnetic survey flown in 2004) in an area of coincident mafic and ultramafic rocks, and a reported historical high-grade nickel showing. One hole has been completed and drilling of the second continues.

NEXT PHASE

The 2006 exploration program is the third of a 5-year joint venture with Aurora Platinum Corp. The next phase in the exploration and drilling
program will be planned once the current program results are available and interpreted.
